Qarshat (ܩ), Resh (ܪ), Sheen (ܫ), Taw (ܬ)

ܩ
Qarshat (q)
The nineteenth letter of the alap-beth, qarshat is pronounced as a "guttural K." It is pronounced similar to the English K, but is pronounced by using the back of the throat rather than the tongue like the English K. This letter can be seen in the tradition pronunciation of the country "Iraq." Qarshat continues the writing line to the following letter.
ܪ
Resh (r)
The twentieth letter of alap-beth, rest is pronounced identically to the English "R," such as in the word "read." Resh does not continue the writing line to the following letter.
ܫ
Sheen (sh)
The twenty-first letter of alap-beth, sheen is pronounced identically to the English "sh" sound, such as in the word "sheep." Sheen continues the writing line to the following letter.
ܬ
Taw (t)
The final letter of alap-beth, taw is pronounced identically to the English "T," such as in the word "top." Taw does not continue the writing line to the following letter.
